As a non-profit ministry, we desire to bless you with an affordable wedding venue, while also fulfilling our primary goal as a place of rest to Christian workers. To that end, we do have additional requirements that you must follow if you would like to use our facility. These are non-negotiable, but also very reasonable.
Basic Wedding Package
What’s Included?
- 12-hour exclusive use of Doane Rest grounds:
6 hours for the event itself, 3 hours setup, and 3 hours clean up and egress*
- Up to 80 guests**
- Exclusive use of the field
- Exclusive use of the Meeting Hall and two CRs
- Exclusive use of the basketball court area
- One night accommodation the night before event for the bride
- Use of 40 large monoblock chairs (with arms) and 6 plastic tables
- Use of 20 wooden benches good for 4 people each
- Use of 10 rustic wooden tables good for 8 people each table
- 4 vehicles maximum (location is near Central Business District along main road)
What is not included?
Exclusive use of gazebo (unless additional cottages are booked by your group)
Use of cottages besides the bridal cottage
Use of additional parking spaces (unless additional cottages are booked by your group)
Minimum requested donation: P30,000.00
*Event must be between 8am-3pm only, PLUS 3 hours for setup & 3 hours for disassembly. Extra time is available if needed. Please see our conditions below regarding more time.

Full Wedding Package
- 12-hour exclusive use of Doane Rest Grounds:
- Up to 100 guests**
- Exclusive use of the field
- Exclusive use of the Meeting Hall and two CRs
- Exclusive use of the basketball court area
- One night cottage accommodation the night before event for the bride
- Bottle of sparkling grape juice and chocolates for the couple
- Use of 40 large monoblock chairs and 6 plastic tables
- Use of additional 5 cottages (all of our available cottages) the night before wedding for Christian family and friends (32 adults and 9 children max)
- Exclusive use of gazebo
- Exclusive use of parking (up to 10 vehicles, location is near Central Business District along main road))

No Sunday weddings, preparation, or cleanup are possible at this time.

Who is allowed to have weddings at Doane Rest?
Can my whole family stay at Doane Rest?
Can we have non-Christians attend our wedding?
Documented violation of our good conduct requirements by your guests will result in the appropriate penalty.
What equipment or items do you have for us to use?
Use of Meeting Hall kitchen for washing (cooking not available) – P3,000.00
Use of projector – P750 per hour
Use of place for rehearsals not on the day of wedding or extra setup/egress time – P500 an hour
Firewood – P700 for full load with kindling
Use of 40 large monoblock chairs (with arms) and 6 plastic tables is included. All other furniture, especially cottage furniture, is not to be used and should remain in our cottages.
So that our items are not misplaced or damaged, we do not have buckets, extension cords, or other miscellaneous items available for your or your suppliers use. We do have rags for cleaning up accidents, but these must be left at our facility in our provided baskets.

How do we "Save the Date"?
The deposit is non-refundable within 7 calendar days of event. If event is cancelled prior to that, 50% of the deposit will be kept for booking and administration fees.
Is there a security deposit?
What things are not allowed?
We have signs posted on our gate regarding smoking not being allowed, and it is your responsibility to make sure your guests and suppliers are informed of these rules. This is why we recommend using our approved suppliers who are already familiar with our rules.
For security, we do have two trained German Shepherds. As such, we cannot allow your pets here. Please talk with us if you or any of your invited guests have a service animal.

How many times can we visit Doane Rest for planning?
Can we have more than 80 guests?
Doane Rest is meant to be available for more intimate events. You can enjoy your time more if the number of guests is limited based on our place. For additional guests over 80, we ask for a donation of P1,000 per each additional person.
Additionally, please note our Meeting Hall can only accommodate up to 50 people. To this end, we will soon have a tent available to ensure you can have your wedding outdoors, rain or shine.
Can we use your facility longer than 12 hours?
Suppliers may setup between 8am-9pm the prior day, or the day of event starting at 8am. Cleanup can only be done until 9pm at the latest.
Use of approved suppliers/vendors is encouraged as they know the facilities the best and how to maximize the time.
Can we take our prenuptial photos at Doane Rest?
What suppliers and vendors are allowed at Doane Rest?
We have a few expectations of your suppliers:
- Caterers should prepare all food outside. No cooking for wedding will be allowed on Doane Rest grounds.
- Suppliers are in charge of setup and cleanup of their materials. This is especially important for needles, pins, and other sharp objects as we have children and pets that can be injured by these being left.
- Suppliers should clean up and remove their materials within the provided cleanup time. In the event that materials are stored for longer, suppliers must remove materials within 2 calendar days following event or materials will be donated (Sunday cleanups are not possible, so they will not be counted as 2 calendar days). We will deduct P1,000 from the security deposit per day for storage fees.
- Suppliers must sort and dispose of trash appropriately in the provided bins. Improperly sorted or undisposed trash will be charged P5,000 for us to perform the necessary disposing and sorting required by the city (to be removed from security deposit).
- Trash must be sorted properly as biodegradable, trash, and recyclable (trash cans are marked appropriately).
